"The Voice" competitor, Chevonne to perform at ARCA Fest

The ARCA Midwest Tour presented by Scag Power Equipment and Lester Buildings is excited to announce that "The Voice" competitor, Chevonne will proudly sing the National Athem for the Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial 150 presented by RaceTeamGear.com.

Chevonne will be a great addition to the ARCA Fest event and she is looking forward to the opportunity to perform at the historic Milwaukee Mile.

"I am SO excited to be singing at ARCA Fest this year! This will be my first-ever racing event, but as a pop-rock musician and a reality TV contestant, I always feel at home in a roaring crowd, being a part of fast-paced, explosive action and celebrating outdoor fun and sportsmanship."

Chevonne was a Season 3 competitor on "The Voice", chosen to be first on Team Cee Lo (Green). She was then stolen to Team Christina (Aguilera). After her appearance on the show, Chevonne raised over $10,000 through her entirely fan-funded website, Kickstarter, in order to fund her debut album.

Big Picture Media saw this as a sign that fans wanted to hear original music from Chevonne. Chevonne formed the band, Chevonne and the Fuzz, and plans to release "Fire At Will" in August of this year.

Steve Einhaus, ARCAMT VP, also noted the significance of a performer like Chevonne taking part in such a special event.

"When you have an event of this caliber, it's always more intriguing when you are able to find special people like Chevonne to perform for the fans. She's on the road to stardom and someday we can look back and say, 'it was really cool to have her be a part of our event.'"

Chevonne was a background singer for Grammy Award Winning Artists, Estelle and Lady Gaga, most recently on Lady Gaga's "Monster Ball" tour. Chevonne is also a graduate of Swarthmore College and has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Music and a minor in English Literature.
