Since moving out here to the midwest I have enjoyed many races at the Mile...made many friends from all over the region. Spending a full day infield, sharing stories, catching up on the happenings since we all last attended a race there. Really miss that we can't set up like we used to and being right in the thick of it once the races started. But am so happy to see them slowly return, just hope the organizers of the races allow those who want to set up for a long, fun day infield that we used to have.

Save the track...it has more tradition than any other track. Bring more events, ASA was a hit, modifieds, whatever it takes to utilize the track and save it. Hopefully we can band together and get NASCAR back with new leadership at the track.

My dad used to take me to the mile as a kid to watch the races more than 50 years ago. I had season tickets for many years watching the ASA cars run with guys like Alan Kulwickie, Mark Martin, Rusty Wallace, etc. all of which eventually made it big in NASCAR. It's a great place to watch a race at and is a shame that the economy hurt attendance so much that one could not profitably promote a successful racing program. Give the economy a little more time to recover and give it a go again. I miss the racing there. Keith Malek

Thanks for taking up this valid cause.
Michael Andretti seems to be making great improvements. However, I'm still concerned by the lack of billboards or ads that promoted the race in years past.

I share memories of the Rex Mays 250 the weekend after the Indy 500. It was the place to be, and still should be. Made racing fans out of kids like me. Thanks to the Andretti family for bringing it back this year, just like Road America in 2007 when CART was broke. Wish I could have 2 minutes with Mario, I'd tell him this:
Just buy it. Get the Fair Board and the local govenment out of the way.
Needs local radio and TV promo. Has been almost extinct for years.
Big issue- Honey Creek fixes. Just do it.
I'll do your radio ads for free. I am a great voice, and have a plan using history and empathy
for some great spots.
Get IndyCar back to racing here the weekend after the Indy 500. It worked.
Get NASCAR back.

Don't let the Milwaukee Mile be a victim of a questionably run fair park....We don't need more food/knick knack stands. The thought of seeing a sign along the road that states historic marker is ahead . And all that is left is a brown sign stating what use to be... The Historic Milwaukee Mile...would tryly be sad.

Get an autosports enthusiast to invest in the track/buy it, build some garages, advertise the snot out of the track, attract some big races, bring the Nationwide series and truck series back, and this track will flourish. I would even go to the extreme and say buy out the block on the backstretch if profitable and build stands all the way around the track. Not sure about where the extra parking would go though.

With proper promotion this is a great venue. Sad to say I did not even know there was an ASA race there last night and now I missed it.

Save the Milwaukee Mile and keep the races coming. It's good for Wisconsin, it's good for the economy, it's good for the sport and it's great for race fans.

Please don't let this track go. My entire 45 years have been spent living very close to the Milwaukee Mile. It is a great location and the drivers love this track. For all these years we have grown up selling lemonade and just sitting outside talking to all of the spectators that come for races here, it has been a joy and a source of pride. We enjoy every minute of it!

Only a fool would let the Milwaukee Mile go. I've seen the track in it hayday and I watched the State screw it UP! This is to all you half witts from the State. Don't Screw this up with Michael Andretti.Fix what you messed up with NASCAR and bring them back....I do vote on a regular bases and I will vote for someone who is in favor of keeping racing in Milwaukee. To Michael Andretti and Family THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! SEE YOU AT THE RACES!
